Mission
The mission of the Library of the University of Cádiz is to collaborate in the achievement of the objectives of the University, through the management, transformation and dissemination of information resources, services and technological utilities that contribute to learning, the generation and transfer of knowledge and culture, as well as the integral training of people and professionals.

- Specialized information attended by a librarian.
- Home loan and consultation in the room.
- Training courses on the bibliographic resources and services that the UCA Library offers to its users.
- Access to the scientific, teaching and institutional production of the University.
- Availability of the recommended bibliography for the development of the subjects.
- Requests for requests for the purchase of bibliographic material.

- Respond within an average period of 24 hours to queries raised by users, both in person and virtually.
- Supply the books requested on loan to another Campus when they become available.
- Notify the user before the loan end date.
- Notify the user when their reserved book has been returned and is available.
- To give a basic training course on the resources and services of the Library to all Fist year students who request it.
- Give specialized sessions in informational skills to all students of Master and Final Degree Project who request it.
- Give personalized courses on information resources to users who request it.
- Acquire the new basic bibliography recommended in each academic year, subject to budgetary availability.
- Acquire all the purchase requests of the students, after evaluation.
- Support the UCA Repository, as a tool for access, dissemination and preservation of institutional scientific production.

- Percentage of books from other available Campuses that have been supplied.
- Percentage of messages sent to the user before the loan due date is met.
- Percentage of messages sent to the user when their reserved/requested book is available.
- Percentage of students who receive training out of the total number of first-year students who request it.
- Percentage of students who receive training out of the total number of Master’s and Final Degree Projects students who request it.
- Percentage of personalized training courses taught out of the total number of courses requested.
- Percentage of recommended basic bibliography acquired over the total recommended new basic bibliography.
- Percentage of documents acquired out of the total number of requests, valued positively.
