“Pushkin Library” collection
The Pushkin Library is the first library in the Spanish-speaking world, belonging to the National Pushkin Institute center located in the University of Cádiz, the Russian equivalent of the Spanish Cervantes Institute. It has more than 800 works of Spanish-Russian resources at the service of the student body and the university community.
The works in this initial collection come from donations from the Alexander Pushkin Foundation in Madrid, the Russian Center in Madrid and the Pushkin Institute of the UCA. The bibliographic and documentary content has been divided into six series: cataloged foundational collection, manuals on the formation of the Russian language, articles in periodicals, iconographies, digitized covers and indexes of cataloged works.
