Nueva edición JCR 2026

El pasado 17 de junio Clarivate publicó la edición 2026 del Journal Citation Reports (JCR) con información actualizada de las revistas indexadas en la base de datos Web of Science (WOS), correspondiente a 2025.  JCR incluye indicadores bibliométricos como el Factor de impacto (JIF), el indicador normalizado JCI, ranking, cuartiles y otras métricas de interés basadas en citas.

 

 

Novedades

 

  • Ha aumentado el número de revistas de acceso abierto en un 6 %.
  • Incluye 521 revistas que reciben un JIF por primera vez de 47 países.
  • Incluye revistas de regiones de fuera de los centros de publicación de Estados Unidos y Europa Occidental (el 58%).
  • Un pequeño número de revistas con contenido incompleto en Web of Science y que evita que las métricas de JCR se calculen con precisión, han sido etiquetadas como  “Próximamente o Forthcoming’ derivando  a las métricas del año anterior.
