Journal quality indicators
The Impact Factor is a numerical index that indicates the number of times that the articles in a journal published in previous years have been cited in the indicated year. It is the indicator that Web of Science uses as well as most of the resources that assess the quality of a journal. There are other indicators such as the SCImago Journal Rank (SJR).
Criteria that refer to the informative, scientific and editorial process quality
The CNEAI indicates in each application process that the criteria that a dissemination medium (magazine, book, congress) must meet so that what is published in it is recognized as having an impact. These criteria refer to the informative and scientific quality of a publication, and to its editorial process.

The international visibility of a journal is measured by the number of scientific databases that collect articles from it.
