Prerequisites
Knowledge of system administration procedures.
Completion of this workshop and installation of Release 2002 Phase 3
(or later versions) are the prerequisites for accessing these tools
and tables on your own system.
Library should be using Millennium software on Release 2002 Phase 3
(or later versions) prior to attending the workshop.
Description
This workshop is designed to make you a behind-the-scenes power user.
We will teach you how and why to update a variety of system
configuration files. Upon completion of this course, the user will
be able to perform the following functions:
Edit rules for record deletion
Edit rules for record suppression
Edit rules for patron requests
Add new printer definitions
Reconfigure the number and capacity of review files
* On the afternoon of the second day, additonal topics on system
administration will be offered.
